Eng. Saja Albayati participated in the Strategic Forum for Civil Society Organizations, contributing to a panel discussion on the role of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity in supporting the digital economy and sustainable development.
The session highlighted the importance of utilizing artificial intelligence technologies to foster innovation, improve services, and enhance institutional efficiency, alongside strengthening cybersecurity to protect data and digital infrastructure and support digital transformation across both government and private sectors.
The discussions also addressed the importance of raising awareness of digital security and digital rights and building effective partnerships among government institutions, the private sector, and civil society organizations to create a safer and more sustainable digital environment and support growth and innovation within the digital economy.
AlBayati participated in her capacity as President of Hala for Sustainable Development and Executive Director of Al-Baydaq Information Technology (BIT), reflecting her interest in connecting technology with sustainable development and strengthening the role of civil society in responding to modern digital transformations.
The forum was organized by the Strategic Foundation for Public Policies, in partnership with the National Wisdom Movement, under the patronage of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, with the participation of more than 50 local and international institutions and organizations, alongside more than 200 civil society organizations and a number of government and political figures.
AlBayati emphasized the importance of strengthening investment in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital transformation, while developing institutional capabilities to adopt modern technologies safely and effectively, contributing to a sustainable digital economy and a more innovative and future-ready environment.
