Eng. Saja Albayati Delivers a Workshop on the Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence

Eng. Saja Albayati delivered the workshop “Artificial Intelligence Between Opportunities and Risks: How Can We Use It Responsibly?” as part of the Digital Literacy Project in Salahuddin Governorate, with a focus on promoting the responsible and safe use of AI technologies.
The workshop was initiated by Hala for Sustainable Development, with the participation of Al-Baydaq Information Technology (BIT) and in coordination with Al-Najwa Foundation for Sustainable Development and the Women Support Organization for Relief, as part of efforts to promote digital knowledge and strengthen community capabilities in dealing with modern technologies.
During the workshop, AlBayati introduced participants to artificial intelligence, the evolution of AI tools, and their practical applications, highlighting opportunities in work, education, administration, content creation, and productivity, while also addressing key risks and challenges associated with the uninformed use of these technologies.
She also emphasized the importance of responsible AI use, verifying AI-generated information and content, protecting personal data and privacy, and maintaining cybersecurity awareness when using digital applications and platforms.
The workshop featured interactive discussions and practical activities that helped participants better understand how to benefit from AI tools in a safer and more informed manner.
AlBayati emphasized that digital literacy is no longer limited to knowing how to use technology; it also requires the ability to understand it and engage with it consciously, safely, and responsibly, highlighting the importance of continuing training programs that enable different segments of society to adapt to digital transformation and benefit from emerging technologies.
